<p><b style="background-color: transparent;">惠州西湖风景名胜区</b>位于<a href="https://m.baike.so.com/doc/2671265-2820914.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 42, 208);">广东省</a>东南部惠州市惠城中心区，由西湖和<a href="https://m.baike.so.com/doc/5403215-5640904.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 42, 208);">红花湖</a>景区组成，总面积20.91平方公里，其中水域面积3.13平方公里。</p><p>惠州西湖风景名胜区是以山水为特征、以休闲和观光为主要功能的国家级<a href="https://m.baike.so.com/doc/5660482-5873133.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 42, 208);">风景名胜区</a>，有<a href="https://m.baike.so.com/doc/6610714-6824506.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 42, 208);">五湖</a>、<a href="https://m.baike.so.com/doc/2519943-2662556.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 42, 208);">六桥</a>、<a href="https://m.baike.so.com/doc/941853-995486.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 42, 208);">八景</a>等景点。 2002年5月17日，国务院审定惠州西湖为第四批国家重点风景名胜区。 2003年1月，惠州西湖风景名胜区被评为4A级旅游区。</p><p>2009年10月22日，祥云挂榜(<a href="https://m.baike.so.com/doc/6193243-6406501.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 42, 208);">高榜山</a>)、玉塔微澜(<a href="https://m.baike.so.com/doc/7764242-8038337.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 42, 208);">泗洲塔</a>)、西湖苏迹(东坡园·苏堤)、丰渚孝感(<a href="https://m.baike.so.com/doc/6845935-7063298.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 42, 208);">丰渚园</a>)、碧湖书香(<a href="https://m.baike.so.com/doc/6574840-6788605.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 42, 208);">丰湖书院</a>)、留丹点翠(<a href="https://m.baike.so.com/doc/9544743-9889333.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 42, 208);">点翠洲</a>)等景点被选为"惠州十大名胜"。</p>
