爱心学校2020《学子论坛》活动于2020年7月14日晚按预期顺利拉下帷幕！ <p>这个活动的可贵之处在于这是一个在爱心学校的青年先锋培养项目平台上，由两位年轻学生发起组织的。</p><p>通过这个活动，她们锻炼了策划，组织，合作和管理的能力。更难能可贵的是她们能时刻接受意见反馈，然后愿意否定并改进自己。这些都是今后职场中成功必须具备的元素！</p><p><br></p><p>她们自己创意，自己找了六个专业方面的优秀Guest Speaker前来演讲：</p><p>Business development coordinator</p><p>Principal flautist</p><p>Civil engineering</p><p>Police officer and author</p><p>Registered nurse</p><p>Registered Social Worker</p><p>并给演讲者安排了如下的发言纲要：</p><p>- Reason for choosing career </p><p>- Education/training</p><p>- A day in the life of profession</p><p>- Special milestones during career </p><p>- Advice for students</p> <p>以上是这两个小领导自己安排和设计的演讲者的宣传资料。</p><p>可以看出这两个孩子为这个项目的成功注入了大量的心血。</p><p>而且，她们请来的讲员都对自己的专业非常投入和热爱。</p> <p>孩子们和她们的家长感谢爱心学校给她们这样一个展现自己才华的平台，也表示通过这个活动锻炼了孩子们的能力。</p><p>家长们对孩子们在这个项目的组织过程中经受了压力，感到高兴！</p><p>以下是孩子们在分享策划和组织这次活动的体会：</p> <p>1. I have gained awareness of the trends in the market and their impact on our lives. I would like to share a few valuable skills I have learned. </p><p>First, coordinating a program is not easy, time availability is crucial. Furthermore, the principal idea to be expanded upon must be valid. In other words, the idea caters to the public's needs. Once a goal is set, you must always be open-minded to criticism and change. It is critical that while contemplating numerous possibilities to better the future, keep the past in mind and ask, "What is the original goal?" Embodying your creativity essentiel. I believe an opportunity to take initiative is priceless and on par with academic learning. The volunteer hours committed to organizing, interacting and endeavouring to reach success have truly shaped my character.</p> <p>2. Working at ECSSEN was such an amazing experience. I had worked as a team member in previous years, however this year I had the opportunity to work as a Co-Director. It was interesting having to make all the big decisions about the format of, and was a big change from simply being a team member. I learned to be decisive and confident in my decision making skills. For this conference, we had a team of two, so it was difficult to demonstrate leadership skills and gather different perspectives on how to deal with some of the issues that arose. I think if we had more perspectives and we might have come to a more effective solution.</p><p>Working as a two woman team it was very reassuring to know that my opinion and ideas were valued. It was also interesting to plan a conference during Covid-19/summer break. It was very motivating to have something important to work on.
