When mention the wormwood,you must be familiar with it.

How much do you know about wormwood?For example,the origin of wormwood’s name?How many kinds of wormwood are there?The first mention of wormwood’s poetry...and so on,it must be another thing.From today on.

 i will share the topic of wormwood with you.

Today’s topic is ‘the impression of wormwood’.It has many names,besides wormwood,the most common ones are wormwood leaf,moxibustion grass,medical grass,sun grass,Xiaomao,iceberg,Qiai and so on.In foreign English,it is called ‘mugwort’,which comes from the meaning of ‘magic herb’ or ‘magician’s herb’ or ‘mother wort’,because it is good for women ‘s diseases.It can be seen that the love of wormwood is regardless of national.It is a perennial herb with strong fragrance(unique fragrance).

 It is a perennial herb with strong fragrance(unique fragrance).The plants are solitary or clumped,the steams and leaves are green gray or gray yellow brown,the leaves are covered with gray white pubescence,and because of the kinds of leaves and the places of leaves.It has many different shapes ,like three seven nine and size differences.The flowering and fruiting period is from September to October.

It grows on the edge of fields,roadsides,gullies and mountains.It also has the strong vitality,and the ability of reproduce naturally.It is widely distributed in China,even in Asia and Europe,it can be seen around the many places can smell the fragrance of the wormwood.

Wormwood can be used as medicine,it has the functions of removingdampress,dispersingcold ,hemostasis,anti-inflammatory,antiasthsmatic,antitussive,antiallergic and so on.Wormwood leaves are dried and mashed into wormwood.They are used for moxibustion.The reason why wormwood is interested and loved by people is that our ancestors found the performance and efficasy of wormwood,and found it has many advantages. 

Wormwood has a long history of medicinal use,the history of it has more than 2000 years,there is a famous book in China,the curative and the usages are recorded in this book .There is no grass in China,which can be prasied as wormwood and has such a close relationship with humans.

艾草·印象

提起艾草，大家一定耳熟能详。

如果要问对艾草究竟了解多少，譬如：艾草名字的由来？艾草有多少个种类？最早提及艾草的诗歌......如此等等；想必就是另一回事了。从今天起，我就和大家一起分享关于艾草的话题。

今天的话题是：艾草·印象

艾草，有好多个名字，最常见到、听到的除了“艾草”之外，还有：艾蒿、艾叶、艾灸草、医草、太阳草、萧茅、冰台、香艾、蕲艾等等。在国外英语称艾叶为“mugwort”，此语源为“魔法的药草”或“魔法师的药草”之意。或别称“motherwort”，意思是“母亲的药草”，即对妇人疾患最好的药草之意。可见对艾草的喜欢是不分国界的。

艾草是多年生草本植物，有浓烈香气（独特的艾香）。植株单生或丛状，茎和叶片青灰色或灰黄褐色；叶子被面有灰白色短柔毛，叶子因品种、地域不同，形状也有三尖、五尖、七尖、九尖、以及大小的差异；花果期在9-10月。

艾草，生长在田边、路旁、沟壑、山野，具有极其顽强的生命力和自然繁殖能力。分布极为广泛，全国各地，乃至亚洲、欧洲的一些地方，都能见到艾草的身影，闻到艾草的芳香。

艾草可全草入药，有温经、去湿、散寒、止血、消炎、平喘、止咳、安胎、抗过敏等作用。艾叶晒干捣碎得“艾绒”，制艾条供艾灸使用，又可作“印泥”的原料。艾草之所以被人们关注和喜爱，正是因为我们的先人发现了艾草的性能和功效，并运用于防疫、保健和治病；从此与人类结下了不解之缘。

艾草的药用历史悠久，已有2000多年的历史，我国现存第一部方书，成书不晚于战国时期的《五十二病方》中，就记载有艾灸的疗效与用法。大自然还没有哪一种草，能像艾草一样被人们推崇、与人类有如此密切和关系。
