<h3>Dr. Emily Joan</h3><h3>Talk： "A Nine-Year-Old King? Henry III of England and Child Kingship in the Middle Ages"</h3><h3>Dr Emily Joan Ward is a medi historian and Finley Research Fellow at Darwin College. Her research broadly es on the themes of rulership, childhood and adolescence in western Europe in the eleventh, twelfth, and thirteenth centuries. She has published articles in Historical Research and Anglo-Norman Studies and is currently co-editing a book on England's eleventh-century conquests. She is also the Director of Studies in History at Wolfson College and has taught for undergraduate courses at the University of Cambridge, Anglia Ruskin University and the University of East Anglia. </h3><h3> </h3>
