white-space: normal; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.301961); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"> 我一直奇怪自己看过陈东茂的画为什么有这类感觉？从他早期的画到新近获大奖的《画家您好》多少都有这个感觉。我还特意百度了一下，查到“撑”这个字不仅仅是陇东方言里吃太饱的意思，也不全是形体上“撑”开的意思，还大致有以下好几种解释：抵住；用篙抵住河底使船行进；支持；张开；充满到容不下的程度。</h3><p style="text-align: left; font-family: -webkit-standard; white-space: normal; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.301961); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"> 撑怎么理解呢？风太大了，把风筝撑的很开？风筝哗啦啦就顺着风放到高处去。我看了又看，发现这首先取决于作品的构图符号，那种开门见山的真诚。我把他的构图符号理解成大写的“X”或“Z”，或者说作品的骨架就是这两个符号。想象一下，一个热情的人，张开四肢拥抱你；一条奔突的河，以“Z”形涌向你，带着扑面而来的泥土气，你会是什么感觉？</h3><p style="text-align: left; font-family: -webkit-standard; white-space: normal; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.301961); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"> 即使构图上没把你“撑”着，他也会用色彩、用道具、用作品中的眼神来撑你。譬如《街角》的喇嘛红，《陇原人家》焦黑的崖背，《回娘家》中的大红和桃红、《叉麦剁》中女娃手里的木叉、《面孔》系列中的眼神……</h3><p style="text-align: left; font-family: -webkit-standard; white-space: normal; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.301961); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"> 当然我还有对“撑”的第二种理解。陈东茂的作品里有它物和它人，唯独看不到画家自己，但他却调动了你的视线“撑”住了画面。怎么说呢？他把主观的思想和情绪都收敛了起来，但是这些东西又经由笔触、色彩、构图等一点一点分解到画面里，此消彼长。就像是把一滴鲜红的血，滴在了一缸透明的水里，那红色立马泅洇了开来，让肉眼能看到水流动的方向和肌理，如此成就了作品的鲜活。我估计这一点他自己也不知道，这个“撑”应该是非主观行为，而是思想上由内而外溢出来的。</h3><p style="text-align: left; white-space: normal; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.301961); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"> 在《画家您好》这幅作品里，或许可以说明这个方面，那迎面而来的乡土气里掺杂着明快积极的时代气息：黄土地、乡亲、孩子、关照、大地、汽车、标语、某种稳妥、欢乐和谐的氛围……画面中，我们还看到无论画家还是群众，每个人的双脚都踏踏实实踩在土地上，周围是再普通不过的西北乡土环境。看起来很普通甚至荒凉贫乏，黄泥的老屋、群众的服饰和肤色都是质朴的存在，和但艺术从不是艺术的地方开始了：画家头部的红车和老屋上的红字为作品赋予了时代感和当下气息……画家把艺术的美好带到民间，群众从画家的艺术创作里重新审视这片土地，这种双向的思考都是一种对土地的反哺和敬爱。这时候画家的身份在转化，他不仅是艺术审美之布道者，又是朴素之美的受洗者；反之，群众的身份也在转换，从美育接受者到美育启发者。蔡元培说：“以美育代替宗教”。这双向的启发无疑是时代赋予艺术家对于社会发展的思考。</h3><p style="text-align: left;
