      北镇庙位于北镇城西1.5公里处的山岗上，是古代帝王祭祀医巫闾山的神庙。也是我国五大镇山庙中唯一保存完好的古建筑群，有着重要的历史和艺术价值，现为全国重点文物保护单位。

    Beizhen Temple is located on the hill 1.5 kilometers west of Beizhen City. It is a temple where ancient emperors offered sacrifices to the YiWulu Mountain. It is also the only well-preserved ancient building group in the five major towns and temples in China, which has important historical and artistic value and is now a key cultural relic protection unit in the country.

     山门上的北镇庙三字据说是明代严嵩所书。

    石牌坊，六柱五楼。

       北镇，历史悠久，据《广宁县乡土志》记载“ 舜封十二山以医巫闾山为幽州之镇故名北镇 ” 

　　庙前的喜怒哀乐狮子，有的朋友说，至少是元朝的，有的说是清朝的，还有说是金朝的，你说呢？

北镇庙的前生今世

    资料记载，北镇庙距今已有1425年。始建于隋开皇十四年（594年），初称“医巫闾山神祠”。金大定四年（1164年）重修后改称“广宁神祠”。元大德二年加封医巫闾山为贞德广宁王，将神祠扩建后改称“广宁王神祠”，元末被毁。后来的明朝十分重视，洪武三年在原址重建，改称“北镇庙”。现在的北镇庙基本上是明永乐十九年（1421年）和弘治八年（1495年）重修扩建的。到了清代，又历次修缮，更有康熙、乾隆、嘉庆、道光等皇帝多次亲临祭山。

     According to records, Beizhen Temple has been 1425 years ago. Founded in the 14th year of Sui Dynasty (594 years), initially known as "Yi Wu Lu Mountain Shrine." After being rebuilt in the fourth year of Jin Dading (1164), it was renamed "Guangning Temple". Yuan Dade two years sealed Yi Wu Lu Mountain as King Zhende Guangning, after the expansion of the shrine was renamed "Guangning King Shrine", the end of the Yuan Dynasty was destroyed. Later, the Ming Dynasty attached great importance to it. Hongwu rebuilt it in the original site for three years and changed its name to "Beizhen Temple". The present Beizhen Temple was basically rebuilt and expanded in the 19th year of Yongle of the Ming Dynasty (1421) and the eighth year of Hongzhi (1495). To the Qing Dynasty, and previous repairs, but also Kangxi, Qianlong, Jiaqing, Daoguang and other emperors visited the mountain sacrifice many times.

    Four lions of different shapes have always guarded the Beizhen Temple, but also guarded the ancient town ，witnessing the earth-shaking changes in the town from ancient times to the present. Once young and frivolous, we often come here to play, the group photo is still there, are you all okay now?

      北镇庙的主要建筑都位于中轴线上，规模宏大，气势雄伟。

    The main buildings of Beizhen Temple are located on the central axis, on a large scale and majestic.

    这是正殿。庙内的主要建筑有：御香殿、正殿、更衣殿、内香殿、寝殿五重大殿，建在一个工字形的高台上。此外还有神马门、钟鼓楼、仙人岩、翠云屏等建筑及景点。

    北镇庙内保存有元、明、清三代的石碑，共有56通，其中有元代的祭山、封山碑12通，明代修庙碑16通，清代的祭山修庙、游山诗等碑28通，这些石碑有的雄伟高大，有的三尺有余；石碑雕刻，既有精雕细磨，又有粗犷之刻；碑刻书法融汇真草隶篆，琳琅满目。

    A total of 56 stone tablets of the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties are preserved in the Beizhen Temple, of which 12 are sacrificed and sealed in the Yuan Dynasty, 16 in the Ming Dynasty, and 28 in the Qing Dynasty. Some of these tablets are majestic and tall, and some are more than three feet old; stone tablets are carved, both fine carving and grinding, but also rugged inions; inions and calligraphy blend true grass official seal, full of eyes.

　　这个碑立于嘉庆十年。

    北镇庙的石碑在考古学上有着很高的价值，是研究元、明、清三代政治、经济、文化的珍贵历史资料。

门墩 

     门墩起到支撑门框，门轴作用的一个构件，多为石制。最早出现在汉代（公元前206年～公元220年），门礅上通常雕刻一些中国传统的吉祥图案。在古代，门墩有着严格的等级制度，不是喜欢了就随意拿来用的。

     The mendun plays a supporting role in the door frame, a member of the door shaft, mostly made of stone. First appeared in the Han Dynasty (206 BC to AD 220), the mendun is usually carved on some of the traditional Chinese auspicious patterns. In ancient times, the mendun has a strict hierarchy, not like it to be used at will.

抱鼓型或箱子型有狮子门礅--高级文官;

抱鼓型有兽吻头门礅--低级武官;

箱子型有雕饰门礅--低级文官;

箱子型无雕饰门礅---富豪;

门枕石--富家市民;

门枕木--普通市民。

As night fell, the ancient and mysterious Beizhen Temple showed another elegant demeanor.

　　只要有机会我就喜欢来到这里走走，不管是早上，白天还是晚上。

    北镇庙前，有休息的长椅，有高大的松树为伞，躺下来，阵阵夏风柔柔的吹来，让人忘记了盛夏伏天的难耐。闭上眼睛，享受耳聪带来的享受，松涛声时时传来，知了声此伏彼起，山下传来城市的喧嚣......睁开眼睛，地上是斑驳的树影，为我遮阴的松树摇曳着，上面有很多松鼠塔，于是深吸几口气，仿佛能闻到松树特用的清香[微笑]，我要睡一会儿。

    In front of the Beizhen Temple, there are resting benches, tall pine trees for umbrellas, lying down, bursts of summer wind soft blowing, let people forget the unbearable summer days. Close my eyes and enjoy . The sound of loose waves comes from time to time, the sound of cicadas comes one after another, and the hustle and bustle of the city comes from the bottom of the mountain.
