The First Day of Our Training Journey

On July 16th，2019，the opening ceremony of 2019 Training Project for the English teachers by the US-China Friendship Volunteers was held in No.1 primary school in Pan Zhou. Ninety-five English teachers in Pan Zhou attended the ceremony，at the same time，the leaders of Education Bureau Miss Jian Yan and Mr. Li Xinmin gave teachers requirements and expressed their expectations during the training.

After the opening ceremony，five American foreign teachers gave their brief self-introduction to us. All the teachers are surprised about their attitude towards teaching and pleasant personality as an English teacher.

Nick，one of the foreign teachers，is making a self-introduction to us. He is so humorous that all the teachers like him so much.

Jam and Kayleigh are giving us lessons about what the CLT is and how we can write a lesson objective according to the SMART rules，（S=specific，M=measurable，A=attainable，R=relevent，T=timely）which are very useful for our English teaching.

In the afternoon，Martha and Nick are giving us lessons about “what makes a superhero super” and “the differences and similarities between American and Chinese language classrooms”

The first day of training is over，all the teachers get a lot from it. Although we feel tired，we also think “never too late to learn”. Cherish every chance to learn，and we will get what we want.
