The Fisherman and His soul——

The young fisherman caught a mermaid and fell in love with it, but the mermaid was a sea creature, and they had no soul, which made it difficult for them to love each other. The fisherman was determined to abandon his soul. A witch taught the fisherman how to get rid of his soul-back to the moonlight on the beach at night, and when the shadow was cast in front of him, cut the shadow from the sides of his feet with a knife, for the shadow was the body of the soul. So in this way, the young Haiff cast off his soul and threw himself into the sea, living with his beloved mermaid. The fisherman's soul wandered the world alone and returned to the sea every year to see the fisherman. In the vagrant days, the soul found wisdom and wealth, the soul hoped to exchange wisdom and wealth in exchange, asked the fisherman to let him back to the fisherman's body, but the fisherman refused. Later, thinking of the solitude of the soul wandering around the world, the fisherman promised to let the soul into his heart. Just then, the fisherman heard a cry from the sea, and the body of the mermaid surfaced the shore. The fisherman clasped the body of the mermaid until the angry sea drowned him.
