In、After+时间，时间+Later的用法和区别

in+时间

in+一段时间，表示从说话人说话的时刻为起点一段时间以后，用于一般将来时。

如：

The doctor will be back in ten minutes．

医生过十分钟就回来。

He will arrive in Beijing in three days．

他三天后将到达北京。 after＋时间

①after+一段时间表示以过去的某一时间为起点，。用于一般过去时。

如：

The teacher left the classroom after two o'clock that afternoon．那天下午两点以后，老师就离开了教室。

He received her letter after five weeks. 

五个礼拜后他收到了她的来信。

②after也可接时间点，接时间点可以用于各种时态。

I think the boy will come here after two o'clock．我想那个男孩两点钟后将来这儿。 时间＋later

时间段+later指某一具体时间算起的“以后”、“后来”，可以指过去，也可指将来

如：

A few minutes later, the teacher came in with a bag.

几分钟之后，老师拿着一个包进来了

Ten days later she became the general manager of the company. 

十天后她成为了公司的总经理。
