期待已久的英国之行终于开始了！第一天，从武汉出发前往北京～～

The long-awaited trip to Britain has begun！The first day, set off from Wuhan for Beijing～～

第二天，坐了十二个小时的飞机到达英国🇬🇧，入住寄宿家庭～～

The next day,we arrived in Britain by air for twelve hours and checked into the host family～～

第三天，起了个大早！英国的早餐和中国真是不一样啊！

The third day,I got up early!It’s really different between breakfast of British and Chinese!

自己坐地铁去学校，迷路✖️1……

I took the subway to school by myself.Unfortunately,I lost my way...

在International House办理入学，不得不说，前台的老师有口音啊😅!

Apply for admission to International House.To be honest,the teacher had an accent!

同学们都来自世界各地，只能用自己的中式英语勉勉强强和人家交流啦🧒🏻🧑🏼👦🏾🧕🏼……

My classmates were from all over the world.I had to use Chinglish to communicate with them...

下午，坐上世界著名的摩天轮🎡——伦敦眼。俯瞰伦敦的全貌，是真的挺美的……

In the afternoon,we sat on the world famous ferris wheel, the London Eye.Seeing the whole London,I had to say that it’s really beautiful...

第四天，漫步在英国的街头，入眼都是欧式古建筑……

The forth day,strolled in the street of England,there were European style ancient buildings everywhere...

第五天，参观英国国家画廊，各种世界名画闪瞎了我的眼🤩！

The fifth day，we visited The National Gallery.All kinds of world famous paintings dazzled me！

第六天，游览英国的母亲河——泰晤士河，在游轮上看英国，又是一番不同的景色啊……

The sixth day，we visited the Thames river, Britain's mother river.Seeing Britain on a cruise ship was a different story…

大本钟正在修缮，无缘欣赏，也是非常可惜了，只能坐在船上远远的看上一眼……

It is a pity that Big Ben is being repaired so that we could‘t appreciate it.We could only sit on the boat and look at it from a distance...

第七天，进入伦敦塔桥，不是一般的恢弘大气上档次啊！

The seventh day,we went into London's tower bridge.It was really grandeur!

第八天，参观大英博物馆，浓厚的历史气息扑面而来，每个藏品的精魂都在诉说着它的故事……

The eighth day,we visited the British Museum.A strong sense of history was on the way.The spirit of each collection was telling its story…

来到大英图书馆，买了本全英文的书，十分怀疑自己会不会看完👀……

We came to the British Library.I bought a book in English but doubt I’ll never finish...

没错，哈利波特迷的必到之处——国王十字车站！！！买周边什么的根本停不下来啊！

Yes,there was where the fans of Harry Potter must go - King’s Cross Station!!!I couldn’t stop buying things in this shop!

第九天，白金汉宫了解一下💂🏻‍♀️!

The ninth day,Buckingham Palace！

这里的小动物完全不怕人的，就算你离的很近，它们也不会跑开～

The animals here were completely unafraid of humans.Even if you were close, they would’t run away~

第十天，来到牛津大学。在浓厚的氛围之中立下flag：好好学习，天天向上！👻

The tenth day,Oxford.In the thick atmosphere,I set a flag：good good study,day day up!

第十一天，瞻仰BBC朴实的外表……希望以后往传媒方面发展的我默默鞠躬🙇‍♀️……

The eleventh day,we admired the BBC's earthy appearance.I bowed for my dream of developing major in media...

大部队向牛津街进发！！！我会说勤俭节约的我在这shopping一条街上什么都没有买吗👻?

Our troops advanced towards Oxford street!!!I was frugal and bought nothing on this street...

第十二天，走进英国自然博物馆……

The twelfth day,British Natinonal Museum...

第十三天，要与童鞋们分别了，好舍不得哦……合影留念一下吧！

The thirteenth day,I had to say goodbye to my classmates.I would miss them...Let’s take a photo!

贝克街福尔摩斯的公寓，感觉自己的智商噌噌噌地上涨啊😎！！！

第十四天，剑桥大学走起的！再次默默立flag……

The fourteenth day，Cambridge！I set a flag quietly again…

康河泛舟，莫名诗意大发：“在康河的柔波里……”

We went boating.Suddenly,I wanted to write a poem:“In the gentle waves of Cambridge…”

第十五天，依依不舍地与寄宿家庭的爷爷奶奶分别，回我大中国啦！

The fifteenth day，I was reluctant to say goodbye to the grandparents in the host family.We came back to China！

来个小总结😆：

这次的旅行给我的印象是非常深刻的，因为这是我第一次出国、第一次与父母较长时间的分别、第一次进入到一个全英文交流的环境之中。

In conclusion：

I was very impressed by this trip，because it was the first time I went abroad,the first time I left my parents for a long time,the first time I got into an English speaking environment.

说实话，刚开始我不是很适应，与同行的人交往不来、在寄宿家庭不能和爷爷奶奶自如地交流、在课堂上听不懂老师和同学在说什么、连续三次在地铁上迷路……第二天晚上跟爸爸妈妈哭诉了好久，感觉糟透了，事事不顺。爸妈鼓励我乐观地去解决问题，我也意识到，在这里我除了靠自己，谁都帮不了我，心态也就慢慢地平和了。我努力地去与爷爷奶奶交流，听不太懂就多问几遍；在课堂上积极发言，不再躲在角落里不吭声；一改以往闷头走路不管事的风格，留心观察地铁站的标示……最后我发现，以前觉得天大的困难其实是小事一桩：爷爷奶奶十分耐心，看出我听不懂会用更简单的词汇加以解释；几次发言过后，发现其他同学的英语水平也和我半斤八两😂；从第三天下午开始，我就能毫不费力地找到正确的地铁线路，不管从哪里回家都不怕……从那时起，我才真正的开始享受我的英国之旅。

To be honest,I felt bad at the beginning.I couldn’t relate to my group,couldn't communicate with my grandparents freely in the host family,couldn’t understand what the teacher and classmates were saying in class,got lost on the subway for three times in a row...I felt terrible and cried to mom and dad for a long time at the second night.My parents encouraged me to solve problems optimistically.I realized that nobody could help me unless I depended myself so I was calm down slowly.I tried to communicate with my host family and asked them more times if I could not understand them.I spoke up in class and stoped hiding in the corner.I changed my careless style and observed the sigh at the underground station...Finally,I found that the difficulties that once seemed so great were actually trivial:The host family were very patient. If they saw that I cannot understand them, they would explain them in simpler words.After several speeches, I found that the English level of other students and I were about the same.From the afternoon of the third day, I was able to find the right subway line without any difficulty and was not afraid to go home from anywhere...From then on, I really began to enjoy my trip in England.

• 关于寄宿家庭：我真的非常幸运，分到了一个特别好的寄宿家庭，主人Mary and her husband都是非常和蔼可亲的人。他们像对待自己孩子一样照顾我们，tried their best to make us feel at home。有一天，他们要出去逛超市，问我们需不需要点什么。室友说想要巧克力和可乐，他们就给我们一人买了两大块巧克力，每顿饭都配一瓶可乐；我说我喜欢他们家的牛奶，Mary就允许我带一瓶去学校喝，第二天提醒我继续带；出发去剑桥的那天，Mary担心我们没有时间吃午饭，特意提前准备好了三明治和水叫我们带上；临走前一天，知道我们爱吃冰淇淋，Mary买了哈根达斯给我们吃；去机场那天，他们亲吻我们的脸颊表示不舍，Mary站在门口目送着我们，直到我们坐上车……在寄宿家庭中我收获了满满的感动……
• About host family:I was really lucky to get a very nice host family.Mary and her husband were very amiable.They regarded us as their own children and tried their best to make us feel at home.One day, they were going to go shopping and asked if we needed anything. My roommates told them we wanted chocolate and coke, they bought two large pieces of chocolate for each of us and a bottle of coke for each meal.When I said I liked their milk, Mary allowed me to bring a bottle of milk to school and reminded me to keep it the next day.On the day we left for Cambridge,she worried that we would not have time for lunch, so she prepared sandwiches and water and told us to bring them.The day before we left, knowing that we loved ice cream, Mary bought haagen-dazs for us.On the day we went to the airport, they kissed us on the cheek to show their love.Mary stood at the door watching us until we got on the car...In the host family, I was deeply moved...

• 关于学校：我们班上的同学不多，八个左右，但可谓是五花八门。几乎每天都有新同学加入，也有老同学结业，当然，也有“常住人口”。有一天，班上有七个同学，来自六个不同的国家……虽说母语各异，但也没有妨碍我们用英语放飞自我。课堂上总是笑声不断，下课了也丝毫没有闲着，谈天说地东拉西扯，用各种奇葩的口音聊的那叫一个欢腾。我毕业那天，有三个特别活泼的女孩很舍不得我，单独照照片不说，还交换了WhatsApp，听说我在中国用不了，就下载了微信。虽然回国之后还是和她们断了联系，但那段欢乐的时光我会永远记得……
  
• About international house:There were not many students in our class, about eight students, but it was multifarious.Almost every day, new students joined in and old students finished their studies. And of course, there was a ‘permanent population’.One day, there were seven classmates from six different countries...Although the mother tongue was different, but also did not prevent us from using English to free ourselves.There was always laughter in the class.After class there was no idleness, gossiping, chatting with all kinds of strange accents and all of us were really happy.On my graduation day, three lively girls loathed me very much.We took photos and added WhatsApp buddy.They heard that I couldn't use it in China, so they downloaded WeChat for me.Although I can’t contact with them after returning to China, I will always remember that happy time...

• 关于饮食：英国的早餐十分单调，主要就是吐司➕果酱；没有午餐，只有下午茶，所以我们的午餐都是在中国餐馆吃的😅；晚餐就比较丰盛了，主要是汉堡、鸡肉什么的，爸妈说我去了趟英国胖了一圈……
  
• About diet:British breakfast is monotonous, mainly is the toast with jam.There was no lunch, just afternoon tea, so we had lunch in Chinese restaurant every day.Dinner is more substantial, mainly burgers, chicken and so on.My parents said I’m fatter than before after traveling in Britain...

• 关于交通：在英国，你是看不到大马路或者是标标准准的十字路口的。街道窄，分叉多，我到现在都不是很明白如果开车的话怎么看红绿灯……特别神奇的是，英国几乎每个行人都闯红灯，极少有红灯停绿灯行的，据说是为了节省时间……英国的地铁可谓一绝，跟迷宫差别不大。虽然出发之前老师就告诉我们英国地铁的不友好，我还是不负众望地迷路了三次……
  
• About traffic:In Britain,you can't see the main street or the standard intersection.The streets are narrow and bifurcated. I still don't know how to look at traffic lights if I drive.Remarkably, almost every pedestrian in Britain runs a red light, rarely stopping at a green light.Supposedly,they do this to save time...Britain's subway system is unique and it likes the maze.Although the teacher told us the British subway was unfriendly before beginning our trip, I got lost three times as expected...

• 关于英国人：英国人可以说是非常谦逊了，“sorry”、“excuse me”不离口，遇到极绅士的还会“女士优先”。公交车上、地铁上都特别安静，几乎没有人说话，所有人都在忙自己的事。但我每次问路时，他们都会特别热情地给我指路，有的还会引着我走过去。如果你以为伦敦人都是一口纯正的英伦腔，那你就错了，在伦敦这个有着各色人种的大熔炉里，人们的口音可谓千奇百怪，有时去买吃的喝的，正好碰上个口音严重的服务员就十分尴尬了，我一个词都听不懂，一脸懵的看着他，他满面春风的看着我……
  
• About the British people:British people can be said to be very humble.They always say "sorry," "excuse me," and met the extreme gentleman will also be "ladies first".The surroundings of buses and subways were extremely quiet, almost no one spoke, and everyone was busy with their own business.But every time when I asked for directions, they gave me directions with great enthusiasm, and some even led me to the place.You'd be wrong to assume that londoners are all perfectly British.In London, a melting pot of all RACES, accents can be strange.Sometimes when I went to buy food and drink, it could be awkward to meet a waiter with a severe accent.I did not understand a word!I looked at him, he looked at me...

英国真的是一个和中国截然不同的国家，我抱着玩一玩的心态去，却收获满满的回来，短短的几天已经让我彻底爱上了那里。只能说，Britian，有缘再会啰！

Britain is really a different country from China.I went with a playful attitude, but returned with full of harvest.Just a few days have made me totally fall in love with it.I can only say, Britian, it is predestined to meet again!
