The 25th Brief Report of Jinghe New City—Summer Training for English Teachers

　　On July 26th 2018, about 30 English teachers from Jinghe New City came to Jingganzhen Middle School to take part in the 2018 Summer Training, even through it's very hot outside.

2018年7月26日，户外温度高达40摄氏度，泾河新城2018年暑期教师培训顺利开展。参与本次培训的各校共计30余名初中英语教师按时到达会场。

（一）

In the morning, the advanced teacher Mr.Zhang, who has been teaching for 36years , gave us an excellent speech. what he said really opened our eyes.To learn English is necessary, because our country is still not well developed, and we need to communicate with others. To be a qualified teacher is necessary but not easy, so we should try hard to teach. To keep up with the times is necessary, because what we learned in the textbook may have been changed in the English-speaking countries.

　　张广友：高级教师，国家中学英语园丁奖（2006），陕西省莲湖教师进修学校英语教研员。西安外国语大学，陕西师范大学硕士生导师。陕西省学科带头人（中学英语）理论导师。从事中小学英语教学 36 年，英语教学（ELT-ELL）研究及师资培训 17 年。2015 年获“陕西省中小学教师培训先进个人”。有丰富的教育教学理论和一线教学经验，在教师培训，指导课堂教学，教科研方面成绩显著。是西安外国语大学，北京外国语大学，陕西师范大学，西北大学，陕西学前师范学院，陕西理工大学，安康学院，陕西省教师培训中心，青海师范大学，洛阳师范学院等国培，省培及培训者培训主讲教师。2009 年至 2017 年讲座 200 多场，受训高中，初中，小学英语教师20000 多人。深受一线教师好评。

Next, Mr. Zhang gives us an Interpretation about New Curriculum Standard.

　　From Mr.Zhang' wonderful speech, I got many ideas.

First, we should lead students to read more. We can read English newspaper every week to know the latest topic and . We can read the text in class until they can read the text fluently.

　　Second, we should read the New Curriculum Standard carefully and have a clear mind about the demands. such as, how many English words should be grasped?（1500）How many topics should be mastered?（24）Which level should be reached when students will take the senior high school entrance examination?（Level 5）and so on.

　　Third, we should speak only English in class, we can make full use of different kinds of means to make students know, like pictures, body language and so on.

Yang Yun, a beautiful lady from Chongwen Middle School, show us a wonderful Micro class named Lily Learns About China

　　So charming! We all lost ourselves into her smile, her teaching style, her fluent oral English and her blackboard designing.

　　She ends the class with a poem that cultivate students to　　love ❤️China.🇨🇳 So that students can have a strong sense of China and a global perspective.

　　Who attracts all the teachers interest? She is an excellent teacher named Shi Baojuan.Now, she will give us the same lesson but different class.

师宝娟老师：陕西省市区三级教学能手，陕西省优秀教学能手工作站站长，主持并参与多项省级课题研究。荣获陕西省教学设计大赛一等奖，陕西省微课大赛二等奖，在咸阳市教师基本功大赛中多次获奖。

Then, she gives us a lecture about how to have a micro class.

After training, we shared our thoughts about teaching. We have a gerneral conception about how to have a micro class, how to present our lesson, and what we should know about New Curriculum Standard.

We know we must improve our abilities in oral English and teaching skills. We believe we can be better. We can make our classes more interesting and make students more confident and active, so let's keep trying!✊✊✊✊✊
