March toward the Dream

“我要上北大”“我要上清华”，这是衡中每名学子的心之所向。每个清晨，很多的高三学子都要在操场上声嘶力竭地喊出这句霸气宣言，唤起心底的梦想，提振冲刺的信心，燃起奋战的激情。

“I want to study in Peking University”. “I want to go to Tsinghua.” This is the heart of everything of every student in Hengshui High School. On every early morning, lots of students of the twelfth grade senior would shout themselves hoarse this arrogant declaration for awakening the dream at the bottom of their heart, boosting the confidence for shooting ahead, and kindling the enthusiasm for the final fight.

清北梦，自踏入衡中大门的那一刻起，就已播种在孩子心间。无论你是奥赛党，还是身处实验班，抑或是就读普通系列，都无比虔诚地追寻着同一个梦想。即使遥不可及，也不轻言放弃；纵使远隔千山万水，也要披荆斩棘，一路向前。

The dream of being enrolled by Tsinghua and Peking University has taken root in the heart of Hengshui High School’s students at the moment when they stepped into the campus. No matter they are diehards of Olympic competition or members of experiment class or ordinary series, all students carry the same dream with highest sincerity. Even if it is unreachable, they never give up easily; even with numerous difficulties and dangers, they will overcome all obstacles and keep forging ahead.

As it is said by a teacher of Hengshui High School, nobody would mock at the loftiness of your dream, but the unmatched action for the dream. Action is more solid than declaration! As nimble as an escaping hare and as gentle as a pussy, it takes efforts of ups and downs through three years. The dream of Tsinghua and PKU glitters splendor, which guides you to challenge the limits and make breakthroughs through risk and thin and burst forth glamour.

To the Running You

进入衡中，你学会了奔跑。

After entering into Hengshui High School, you’ve learnt to run.

曾经的你散漫、任性、随意，学习的位次要排在手机游戏、QQ聊天、综艺娱乐之后。是衡中，戒除了你性格中的懒散、拖延、浮躁。时间一下子无比珍贵，晨读、学案、作业、自助应接不暇，周测、调考、期中接踵而至。“00后”小将的磨砺先从惜时如金开始。

You were once excursive, headstrong and unbending. Study ranks behind mobile games, QQ chatting and variety entertainment programs. It is Hengshui High School that left you off from indolence, procrastination and fickleness. Time turns to be incomparably precious. You are assigned with too many tasks to finish from morning reading, learning case, schoolwork to self-study. Week quiz, investigation and mid-term examination come one after another. The training for the young “post0-2000” path-breakers starts from treasuring time.

不奔跑，就掉队！不奔跑，就落后！

You will fall behind if you stop running! You will lag behind if you stop running!

在奔跑中，你学会了心无旁骛的专注。时间被分配至了不可分割的最小单元，一分一秒都被利用到了极致。日子变得更纯粹，更单纯。从预习到复习，规定动作一个都不少，习题、积累、改错，自选动作一丝不苟，阅读、思考、习字……时间悄然滑过，学科短板被填平补齐，长板打磨成决战时刻的杀手锏。

Through running, you’ve learnt to without distractions. Time has been divided into the smallest indivisible units. Every single second has been utilized to the extreme. Your life becomes sheerer and purer. From preparation in advance to review afterwards, none of the compulsory exercises cannot be spared. You need to be conscientious and meticulous for every link from exercise, accumulation and error correction. Reading, thinking and practicing… Time slips quietly. The short slabs have been leveled up. Long slabs have been polished into ace in the hole at critical moments.

在奔跑中，你历练了愈挫愈勇的品性。衡中的赛场，没有硝烟，却激烈且壮怀。梦想、抱负，压力、挫折，也许只有衡中的学子感知得更强烈，体会得更真切。因为对手太强大，其中不乏各市县区的中考状元，比你有天赋，比你更勤奋的同学，比比皆是。受挫受虐折戟是常有的事。“衡中虐我千百遍，我待衡中如初恋”“重拾不要脸的自信”，这些调侃的口头语是你最佳的自励。强者不是与生俱来，而是逆风而行，含泪奔跑，奋起直追。请记住，愈挫愈勇愈优秀，你，就是强者！

Through running, you’ve been empowered with the courage mounted through battles. There is no smoke of gunpowder but full of heroic spirit in the competition terrain of Hengshui High School. Dream, ambition, pressure and frustration might be perceived in a more intensive and authentic way by students here, for your competitors are too powerful. Lots of them are No.1 students in the senior high school entrance examination from various cities, counties and districts. More gifted and diligent students can be found everywhere. It is usual to get frustrated and suffers. “HHS maltreats me for thousands of times, I still regard her as my first love” “Pick up the shameless confidence”. These amusing oral expressions prove to be your best self-excitations. Please remember, through frustrations and sufferings, you will be more excellent. You, are the overmatch!

7月6—17日，参加2017年“卓越之旅”夏令营；

July 6th---17th, participate in the "Tour of Excellence" summer camp of 2017;

7月18日，作为通过自主招生的一员，领取衡水一中录取通知书，获得学校为新生准备的大礼包；

July 18th, obtain the Letter of Admission of HHS and the gift packs prepared by the school for new students as a member of independent recruitment;

8月15日，官网查询，分至XX系列XX班，学号XXXX；

August 15th, get to know your class, serial and student number through the official website;

8月16—17日，作为“翔梦”夏令营一员先期启程，抵达衡中南校区；

August 16th-17th, set out as a member of the "Tour of Excellence" summer camp and reach the South Campus of HHS;

8月18日，参加2017级新生入学教育大会；

August 18th, take part in the Admission Conference for new student in 2017;

9月30日—10月1日，参加2017年田径运动会；

September 30th-October 1st, participate in the 2017 Track Meet;

10月5—6日，过完国庆假期，迎来首次大考；

October 5th-6th, usher in the first major exam after the National Day holiday;

Your first stage pose, first prize-winning, first report on official website, first time of becoming a member of the Flag Guard, first time of being a speaker, and first time in social practice… Every single step you make will be attached with a unique label and treasured up by your parents. They turn out to be the hard-won honors and prides for standing out.

衡中季里，琅琅书声，坚实的脚步，青春的身影，是对梦想与执着的诠释，是对努力和坚持的分享。加油吧，孩子！新的赛季已然来临，这里给你最暖心的拥抱，相信你的汗水与付出终会带来满满的收获，相信衡中季的成长，会为自己拼出一个美好未来！

The bright sound of reading, solid footsteps and young figures of yours in HHS constitute interpretation for dream and persistence and share of efforts and perseverance. Go for it, children!
